Catenians

The Catenians logo

The Catenians are an association of Catholic laymen who are committed to their Faith, their families, to those in need and to each other. Our primary purpose is to establish a network of friends, which enhances our family life, strengthens our Faith and sustains us in difficult times. We support each other, the Catholic Church, young people and those in need.

Our friendships are developed through meeting together as a Circle, once a month and enjoying a varied programme of social events together with our families and the widows of members. While joining the men on various social evenings, our Ladies and Widows themselves meet regularly for their own social programme.
The Plymouth Circle is a friendly and active Circle, with events and activities for all to enjoy. We involve our Clergy in much of what we do, and they in turn offer us their spiritual and practical support. Our families are never forgotten, and as well as involvement in Circle activities, we have events for children, and the ladies (wives, partners, close friends) have a very active programme of their own. Why not come along and meet us at one of our Circle meetings – simply contact us first to let us know. There would be no obligation to join and we would be delighted to meet you.
